Brief Introduction

SANDIAN ELECTRIC was established in 1950, directly belongs to China Energy Engineering Group (CEEC, ENERGY CHINA), through more than 68 years development, it is the leader manufacturer of high-voltage Instrument Transformers and Porcelain Insulators industry in China. SANDIAN has two Technical Research & Development Centers for Instrument Transformers and Porcelain Insulators, and has five manufacture factories, the main factory is Hunan Electric Power Insulator & Apparatus Co., Ltd. specialize in manufacturing Instrument Transformers, Porcelain insulators, Surge Arresters, Fuse cutouts, MV Switchgears and another electrical equipments.

SANDIAN located in Liling City, Hunan province of China, it takes 1 hour to arrive at Changsha International Airport. 

SANDIAN  covers an area of 660,000 square meters and a total asset of 1 billion with more than 1200 staff, including 150 professional technicians, It has 85,000 square meters modern fully closed and air purified workshops and superior manufacture equipments, advanced test equipments in the first class of international level, such as power frequency test equipment of 1500kV without partial discharge and 3000kV impulse voltage generator and etc.

2  Porcelain insulators

The hollow and the post High-voltage porcelain insulators with rated voltage from 1kV up to 800kV wide range of special porcelain insulators, includes hollow insulators used for GIS,PT,CT bushing for transformers, capacitors, switchgears, and voltage regulators, cable terminal, as well as arrester housings, switch post, fuse cutouts. and substation post insulator ,suspension disc insulators ,line pin type insulators, line post insulators, stay insulators, spool insulator and numerous other insulator types meet to customers demands.
The first piece of 110kV porcelain bushing insulator and DC suspension porcelain insulator in China were all made by SANDIAN.
